In order to carry forward the traditional Chinese culture, on the afternoon of 22nd November, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Primary Department held the ‘Classical Poetry Recitation’ Competition in the third and fourth grades.
Specifically, contestants demonstrated classical poetry such as ‘Patio Spring Snow’ and ‘River of Red’ with full emotions, which was greeted by enthusiastic applause from the audience. Finally, the first prizes went to competitors form Class 1, Grade 4 and Class 3, Grade 4.
Overall, through this splendid contest, we not only enabled students to comprehend the traditional Chinese culture, cultivate their admirable qualities such as patriotism, friendliness and gratitude, but also boosted students’ mandarin level and language competence.
In the meantime, warm celebrations to Anqing Foreign Language School’s teacher Yang Yu for the first place win in the 2nd Session Micro-Lesson Competition in Elementary and Secondary Schools of Anhui Province. Moreover, teacher Wan Xu had the honor to obtain the third prize.
Last but not the least, warm congratulations to Anqing Foreign Language School’s teacher Xu Degao for the third prize with his work ‘Promote Education Quality by means of Pro-Reading Campaign’ in the Innovation Experience Evaluation of Educational Reform in Anqing City.
